Security Researcher Hacked Ransomware Developers

SecurityYo' Citizens,
This is what happens, when you try to hack cyber security researchers and their friends. Lmfao!

Few days ago my friend called me to check his laptop, he said something weird is going on. All photos of his family are corrupted and not able to view. First thing Ive noticed is weird extension on all photos (*.enc). I knew its some kind of Ransomware. - I decided to put ransomware in my pentest lab. Instead of reversing I started - Bingo! Thats what I was looking for. Now I know where - This is worst security Ive ever seen! Passwords used for login wasnt encrypted and password for admin user was password for SSH service on server. I used SSH and logged in as root user.

Dump with list of decrypt keys can be found on Pastebin. Bad boys, your server is gone. I hope you dont have a backup! Stay safe!

Ha ha, Lmfao!
